Sam Faulkner

Mayflower Brickwork, founded by Sam Faulkner, has had 20 + years experience in both residential and commercial building.
​
I started out working for a local building company at the age of 16 in my home town of Birmingham. I quickly began to pick up bricklaying and was eager to learn the structural side of home extensions. I was given more responsibilities by my boss at the time and it didn't take long before I was confident in doing it all myself.
​
At age 23, I moved out to Australia where I worked in Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin, building a wide range of new build houses, from 2 bed bungalows to high end properties. I was also lucky enough to work on the most expensive house ever sold in Melbourne. This added another string to my bow, having the knowledge to build both home extensions and new build houses.

On my return to the UK, I made the move down to Southampton where I started Mayflower Brickwork. The aim of which is to provide quality living spaces, be it an extension, new build, garage conversion or garden space. We work closely with our clients to make sure that their expectations are met and that the process is stress free.
